Chaga (Inonotus obliquus Fuscoporia obliqua) is the most common name for a fungus or mushroom in the Hymenochaetaceae family. In the Netherlands this fungus is rare and is called Birchweed fungus. Chaga is applied and sold as a medicinal mushroom and therefore enjoys a higher than average fame among the general public. In science, chaga mushroom has been the subject of research for many decades, mainly because of the cancer-inhibiting and healing properties attributed to it.
Ingredients per vegetarian capsule: 400 mg organic Chaga (inonotus obliquus) extract from 100% fruit body (sclerotia). It is a full-spectrum extract obtained by means of H2O and ethanol. This is to get the most out of the fruit bodies. It contains 35% polysaccharides, betulin, betulinic acid and sterols.
